From January to June, the same caliber statistics national refractory production of 10,482,200 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 13.75%. Among them, 5.6107 million tons of dense shaped refractory products, down 16.34% year-on-year; 312,000 tons of thermal insulation refractory products, up 5.94%; 4.5596 million tons of unshaped refractory products, down 11.51% year-on-year. Dense shaped products, carbon products 1,386,500 tons, down 3.35%, functional products 233,200 tons, down 14.4%. Dense shaped products fell more, mainly because of the infrastructure refractory materials by the impact of the epidemic is greater.
Refractory materials, the main production provinces (cities) production also appeared to varying degrees of decline. Henan Province in the first half of the output of 3,353,100 tons, down 36% year-on-year; Liaoning in the first half of the output of 2,203,000 tons, a year-on-year decline of 2.22%; Shandong 1,235,400 tons, a year-on-year decline of 3.37%; Jiangsu in the first half of the output of 722,700 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 5.53%; Zhejiang in the first half of the output of 697,900 tons, a year-on-year decline of 13%. It should be noted that, due to the optimization of this year's statistical method of partial adjustment, the first half of the comparative benchmark volume selection is taken by half of the final annual output verified at the end of 2019, so the year-on-year data deviation is larger. In addition, the reason for the growth of production in some areas is that associations at all levels encourage more enterprises to report, and the sample size has increased compared with the previous year. The adjustment of statistical attribution caliber also caused some changes.
Overall, in the first half of 2020, most of the regions and enterprises of the refractory production, by the impact of the epidemic is still relatively large. 1-6 months, refractory products production decreased by 13.75% year-on-year.
